Don’t have roast pork for your savory pancake cooking? That’s okay. Shred leftover turkey (perfect for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday) or use rotisserie chicken.

Don’t have apples for the slaw? Fine. Use pears, cabbage or kale. It’ll still be yummy and pair well with the flavor combo. Just don’t skip the slaw. The crunchy contrast is beautiful with the soft pancakes and pork.

  1. Mix all ingredients into a small bowl.
  2. Place slaw in the fridge to meld for at least one hour.

Slaw become mushy when stored too long. Make ahead no more than 3 to 4 hours.
